About Me

I guess this would be a good time to introduce myself. I'm Zak Binder and this website was born out of my love of traveling and my love of telling stories about the places I've visited and the people that I've met. Like most places on the web, this site will live in a constant state of evolution. As long as I continue to travel, I plan to write about my journeys here.

I was born in 1974, attended Solis Cohen Elementary School, Woodrow Wilson Junior High School, and North East High School in Philadelphia, PA. At North East, I was a proud member of the Computer Team on Project SPARC (Space Research Center). Project SPARC is a program where high school students have the mission to plan, construct, and eventually simulate a space flight launch.

After high school, I attended the Univeristy of Delaware in Newark, DE. I graduated with a degree in English and a concentration in Business and Technical Writing.

When I'm not traveling, I work at a software company in Malvern, PA as an Advisory Technical Writer. My primary focus at work is on the creation of User Manuals, Installation Guides, Reference Materials, and On-line Help Systems.
